NSMQ 2020: PRESEC wins Ghana National Science & Math Quiz 2020.

Presbyterian boys’ senior High school, popularly known as PRESEC has won the prestigious Ghana National Science & Math Quiz competition.

The competition had three schools battling to win the ultimate.  The schools were;

OWASS and ADISCO all ended the first round slacking and not being in the best of form as they couldn’t cling the points as they anticipated.  The first round ended with PRESEC leading with 14 points, 9 and 7 for OWASS and ADISCO respectively.

The competition got intense in the preceding rounds, two, three and four as all the schools geared up to win the ultimate prize. These rounds had in it, the problem of the day and True or False statements. At the end of the 4th round, PRESEC came out tops with 33 points leaving ADISCO at 28 and Opoku Ware school 18.

The final competition had a thrilling final round. For the ‘OWAREANS’, the plan was to grab the riddles right on the first clue for five points each but unfortunately missed two and scored only one on the 3rd clue for just three points. All the schools put up a super splendid performance but then as we all know, in every competition only one side is crowned champion of the day.

At the end of the competition,  PRESEC-Legon emerged as champions with 36 points making it their sixth  trophy in the competition. In the second position was Cape Coast own Adisadel college with 31 points and then Kumericans’ Opoku Ware school with 21 points.

All in all, PRESEC earned the bragging rights to boast of being the best Senior High School in Ghana currently. Congratulations PRESEC.
