The JHS leaver who built his own car from metal scrap has earned a fully funded scholarship from the CEO of Kantanka automobiles, kwadwo Sarfo Jnr.
It is still fresh in the minds of all Ghanaians, the video that went viral on social media about Kelvin Odartey, the BECE candidate who drove a car he built with metal scrap to write his exams.
The video caught the attention of Kwadwo Sarfo Jnr, the CEO of kantanka automobiles who has pledged to award a scholarship to the young engineer for showcasing such a skill.
In a meeting between Kelvin Odartey, his mother, and the CEO of kantanka automobiles, the CEO expressed interest in the boy’s innovation and offered to mentor him so as to enable him to develop his talent and in turn help kantanka automobiles work on such projects with him onboard.
