
Sony is reportedly making less number of PS5 consoles.
According to a new Bloomberg report, Sony expects to manufacture 11 million units by the end of March 2021.
Leading to a significant boom in popularity of the gaming industry caused by the onset of COVID-19 pandemic, Sony planned to raise production to about 10 million units of consoles by the end of December. Reports state that it has cut off the units of PlayStation consoles to manufacture due to some crisis faced by the company.
Sony may disclose the price and release date of the various consoles in an upcoming event that will take place on Wednesday September 16, 2020 online. The console is said to come in two forms
- One with a disc drive
- One without disc drive
